Job Description

Engage in stakeholder meetings to understand needs and identify optimization opportunities.
Assist senior team in strategy development, planning, and budgeting.
Assist in developing documentation such as capability models, heat maps, and maturity assessments.
Handle ad hoc requests from Commercial leadership.
Improve and sustain the Commercial Investment Governance Framework, including project support, decision coordination, and documentation management.
Legally entitled to work in Canada for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation (e.g., work visa)
Available to begin work in September 2024
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Solid analytical and MS Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal, judgment and decision-making skills
Strong verbal, written communication, and visualization skills
Takes initiative; self-motivated.
Currently enrolled in a Business Undergraduate Program (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting areas preferred) or related program at an accredited post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies after the work term.

A multi-discipline program with meaningful, hands-on work experience
Networking events coordinated by the New Grad Committee including group mentoring from senior/executive leaders, lunch ‘n learns, guest speakers, technical presentations, and holiday celebrations.
Wide support network including direct leaders, program leads, human resource, peers, mentor(s), New Grad Committee, and buddy.
Structured goal setting and performance evaluations.
Opportunity to present work-term learnings to the Cenovus Leadership team.
Students moving for their work term may be eligible to receive a lump sum relocation payment to assist with relocation expenses.
Candidates must have their own means of transportation as there is no public transportation in field locations.
New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
