The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Student Engagement and Multicultural Hub Manager, this is a brand new role to be part of our Student Experience Team.
The Manager is responsible for driving student engagement, both on campus and with our Distance Learning students. You will foster an environment that recognises, appreciates, and celebrates diversity while supporting the needs of our diverse student body, ensuring high-quality support is available. You will support and promote a sense of community and belonging through celebrations of culture and peer mentoring.
Working in partnership with key stakeholders across the University, you will oversee our new peer-to-peer mentoring programme, and line manage the peer mentor leads You will also work with student life advisors, reviewing programme offerings, analysing participation rates, measuring success, and recommending enhancements.
** You will expected to visit the Student Hubs at all of our campuses regularly, therefore travel is likely to be several times a month.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has worked in Higher Education, and has led a team of student experience professionals, supporting students from diverse backgrounds. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a focus on outcomes that are aligned to KPIs, and be proficient in the use of student information systems and other relevant applications. An up to date knowledge of current technologies and MS office applications, predictive analytics, Power BI and similar are a must.
You will need demonstrated success in delivering multicultural programmes and events, and of leading on the implementation of student success initiatives.
