- Use diverse instructional methods like role playing, simulations, group discussions, and lectures to present information.
- Apply your skills in Adult Learning Theories for content delivery.
- Manage onboarding for groups of 30+ learners from initial day to program completion.
- Acquire onboarding content for multiple student support groups while staying updated on university and department changes.
- Document attendance and communicate learner progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Create engaging classroom environments by delivering content and facilitating discussions.
- Demonstrate soft skills including written and verbal communication.
- Deliver training based on defined goals and assess knowledge transfer effectiveness through assessments and surveys.
- Coach learners on connecting their work with the university mission.
- Operate learning management systems and multiple technologies (e.g., SABA, Five9, and Salesforce).
- Collaborate with internal L&D partners and support cross-departmental training programs.
- Ensure consistent messaging across teams in the Student Experience group.
- Work with leadership to identify gaps, learning goals, and recommend solutions based on trends.
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external entities to enhance staff experience.
- Develop engaging onboarding and ongoing training resources using instructional design and adult learning theory to achieve learning outcomes.
- 1+ years of training, coaching, or facilitation experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable
- Some understanding of Adult Learning Theories (ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, Learning Pedagogies)
- Experience providing constructive and objective feedback regarding performance.
- Excellent collaboration skills

The Opportunity
A Learning Facilitator delivers internal training content across student experience, student financial services, and student support services. Their primary responsibility encompasses the creation, evaluation, and delivery of training materials meticulously aligned with regulations and university processes.
The Learning Facilitator delivers content tailored to the needs of the audience, ensuring that every trainee remains engaged and included. They meticulously create and apply coaching strategies for staff working directly with students, encouraging their growth. This is achieved by drawing upon a solid foundation in adult learning theories, showcasing a diverse skill set encompassing collaboration and communication, adept virtual and classroom management, and the proficient use of technology to dispense knowledge and assess the progress of learners.
This is a remote friendly position (#LI-Remote). You will report to the Learning and Development Training Manager.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENT: Your schedule would be 8 AM- 5:00 PM Mountain or Pacific Time, Monday - Friday.
