    • Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Student, Family, and Community School Coordinator for our High School Network!

      Coordinates and supports intentional and meaningful partnerships between families, community partners, agencies, and the school to assist in reaching building level goals; specifically reducing chronic absenteeism, increasing academic achievement, increasing student engagement in out-of-school activities, and increasing student self-efficacy. Implements a menu of data informed, high quality programs and services in adherence with the community school framework, including but not limited to expanded learning and enrichment opportunities, integrated students support (health and basic needs), active family and community engagement, and effective collaborative leadership practices.

      Successful Candidates will Posses:
      Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field.
      Three (3) years of experience in coordinating school-based services, working with youth, or experience serving the community

      Highly Skilled Candidates will Posses:
      Experience working in a Pre-K - 12 Educational setting.

      Location: Hoover HS

      Position Details:
      Non-Exempt (will use punch clock)
      260 days (year round)
      8 hour days
      Full Time
      Pay Range: $22.69/hr - $26.78/hr

      3. Single Dental insurance at no cost to the employee. Family Dental Insurance with a minimal monthly cost ($50 per month for most employees).
      4. Family Vision Insurance at no cost to the employee for eligible employees. Not all employee groups are eligible.
