      Summary

      The Moreno Lab at the Children’s Nutrition Research Center is researching the effects of evening screen media use on children’s sleep and circadian rhythms. We looking to hire a Student Helper to help assist the coordinators with data collection procedures. Applicants should be organized, able to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.

      Job Duties

      • Explains process and procedures to educate participant regarding the research study following data collection
      • checklist.
      • Assists with data collection procedures as needed.
      • Assists with scheduled reminders for research participant for visits and assessments.
      • Student will use skills to assist the coordinators and PI with a variety of duties such as: perform literature searches,
      • review and editing manuscripts, and recording results from data collections materials and checklists.
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
      • No experience required.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Previous experience working with children, coursework in Psychology, Kinesiology, Computer Science, Health Sciences or other related field
      • Perform responsibilities that require independent thinking and decision-making skills
