- Develop and execute data-driven leasing strategies that meet or exceed occupancy, revenue, and pre-leasing targets.
- Own the full leasing lifecycle—from initial lead generation to signed lease—ensuring efficient, high-conversion processes.
- Partner with revenue management to inform pricing, incentives, and leasing term strategies based on market and internal data.
- Monitor leasing KPIs (tour-to-lease ratios, lead conversion, lease velocity) and quickly implement optimization measures when needed.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a leasing and marketing team of 6+ associates; cultivate a high-performance, service-oriented culture.
- Support and mentor resident services team members in resident retention efforts.
- Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability systems to drive team success and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training in collaboration with Human Resources, focusing on both sales acumen and compliance.
- Responsible for the supervision and enforcement of all leasing file completion by the assigned team.
- When necessary acts as Manager on duty.

- Collaborate with internal and external marketing teams to develop and execute property-specific campaigns across digital, grassroots, and referral channels.
- Evaluate and optimize lead sources (ILS platforms, paid media, social media, influencer partnerships, etc.) for maximum ROI.
- Review and approve all leasing materials, digital content, and promotional collateral to ensure consistent branding and fair housing compliance.
- Follow the GHP hospitality standards by insuring the 'model' apartments and target apartments are ready for show (e.g. cleanliness, WOW fridge, green apples)
- Collaborate with operations, facilities, and resident services to deliver a seamless resident lifecycle, including a successful move-in experience.
- Oversee the roommate matching and placement process, including communication workflows and data management.
- Ensure effective use of leasing platforms (e.g. Yardi), CRM tools, and reporting dashboards to streamline leasing operations and improve performance visibility.

- Build and maintain relationships with university housing departments, admissions offices, and student organizations to drive community awareness and referrals.
- Manage third-party vendors including digital agencies, call centers, and referral partners; regularly evaluate performance, deliverables, and alignment with goals.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to develop community engagement initiatives that improve resident satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Design and implement renewal strategies, informed by resident feedback, survey results, and behavioral data.
- Monitor retention performance and provide regular insight into risks and opportunities tied to resident experience.
- Produce regular leasing and occupancy reports, providing insights on leasing velocity, market conditions, campaign effectiveness, and forecast accuracy.
- Analyze leasing data to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities for strategy adjustments.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform broader business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of successful lease-up experience in a Class A, 500+ unit student housing or multifamily property.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed leasing goals across multiple phases of development.
- Strong leadership experience managing leasing teams of 6+ members.
- Deep knowledge of student housing leasing cycles, university partnerships, and local market conditions.
- Proficient in property management systems such as Yardi, RealPage, and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of fair housing laws at federal, state, and local levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The Student Housing Leasing Director plays a pivotal leadership role in driving leasing performance, occupancy, and revenue growth for the Lorenzo, a premier student housing community. This individual will develop and execute innovative leasing and marketing strategies, lead a high-performing leasing team, and partner cross-functionally to ensure a best-in-class resident experience.
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven leader with a passion for student housing, a deep understanding of lease-up dynamics, and a proven ability to drive results in fast-paced environments.
This position is full-time and is exempt from overtime.

Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 annually, D.O.E.
