Job Description

Intern program applicants need to be a minimum of 16 years of age and enrolled in community college or university during the regular academic year.
Applicants must be majoring in Hospitality/Tourism/Travel Industry Management or in a business discipline applicable to the Hospitality Industry.
Applicants must be proficient in English (verbal & written.)
Applicants must meet all Outrigger employment qualifications, including the Talent Plus Interview, drug screen and background check.
International students must be eligible to work in the United States and have a J-1 Visa and Social Security number.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES
The Outrigger Summer Internship Program college students studying Hospitality and Tourism the opportunity to learn about the Hospitality Industry and acquire new skills, explore career paths, and gain work experience. The program supports Outrigger’s workforce development initiatives to prepare the future workforce to meet Outrigger’s and Hawaii’s long-term employment opportunities and facilitate the connection between the hospitality industry and future workforce to align skills and interests with real work opportunities. The Outrigger Summer Internship Program is a paid internship program.Payrate: $20/hr
