- Supports Supply Chain Management in various functional areas.
- Tasks primarily focus on closing supply chain data in the PeopleSoft ERP in preparation for the move to Workday.
- Potential tasks may include – but not limited to:
- Assisting with the close out of open Purchase Orders
- Assisting in the cleanup of match exceptions
- Updating voucher data based on documented processes
- Validation of contract data being migrated into new repository
- Updating invoices in error to ensure smooth processing to voucher and payment
- Ensure compliance with corporate card procedures by communicating outstanding tasks to card holders
- Provide backup support through the summer vacation period
- Utilize MS office products (Excel/Word/Outlook) as tools to communicate and manage work
- Work may include learning other systems, to include PeopleSoft, Workday Strategic Sourcing, Captiva and ServiceNow
- Attend department meetings and maintain notes to ensure proper policies and procedures are followed
- Assist in other special projects, as directed, to ensure a smooth PeopleSoft to Workday transition
- Consistently act in a professional manner with internal supply chain team members and our end users
- Other duties as assigned
- HS diploma
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program
- Desire to work in Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Able to work 4 days/8 hours a day months of June-August
- Knowledge of:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Data Analytics

Job Summary
Under the direction of the manager or supervisor of the Finance department, the student intern will perform duties in the following areas: The interns provide support to supply chain departments that need additional resources from June- August to assist with special projects, new initiatives or daily operations. A supply chain team member is assigned to the intern to provide instruction, guidance and to assess performance. The various supply chain departments to possibly work in are: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Operations Support, Value Analysis, Contracting, Business Operations and Content Management. Applicants will be assigned a department based on need, skills and any previous summer intern experience.
