      The Position

      In Roche Diagnostics, we use technology to tackle care improvements across the various care settings. Roche Information Solutions (RIS) is the business area in Roche Diagnostics which focuses on delivering software solutions that connect data and systems across labs, clinics and home settings. The ability to bring together insights from all areas of healthcare, helps healthcare professionals and patients make more timely, confident and individualized decisions across the care continuum – from prevention to disease management – enabling a holistic approach to care.

      RIS Communications is a passionate, driven and fun team of eight, who manages strategic communications for RIS including strategic content development, thought leadership activities, media relations, executive communications. Partnering with the business to tap into new markets, bring value to new customers and explore new approaches to expand to digital healthcare requires also new approaches in communications. The goal is to engage internal audiences around a new opportunity as well as existing and new external audiences around the value of our digital solutions and capabilities - driving business priorities and shaping Roche’s positioning and reputation in digital healthcare.

      In this internship position, you will drive and support a variety of communications activities, including the following:

      • Deliver on communications strategies with tactics such thought leadership articles, podcasts, slides, or other content pieces and respective amplification for example with social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Google Ads, or presentations at events

      • Drive leadership and employee engagement, developing content and communications tools to engage and equip leaders and colleagues to act as impactful ambassadors for our cause; examples include storylines, speaking points, messaging one-pagers and supporting visuals (e.g., animations, illustrations) for specific digital healthcare topics

      • Communications of product milestones with internal and external audiences including writing of media releases and related Q&A documents, key messages and short articles

      • Support end-to-end integrated communication planning including measurement against objectives

      Who you are:

      • You are an ambitious student currently enrolled in your Master or Bachelor studies, or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from your Master studies in communications or related fields

      • You are an effective team player with an agile, curious mindset who enjoys collaborating with colleagues in a fast pace and dynamic environment

      • With have a passion for technology-driven healthcare, keep up to date on digital healthcare trends and use your observations to help shape communications themes, programs and translate complex topics into simple, inspiring stories and messages.

      • Ability to leverage technology and data to generate insights as foundation for analysis, recommendations and decisions.

      Moreover, you are:

      • A strategic thinker, talented writer and creative mind

      • A person who brings a high level of initiative, dedication and quality to everything you do

      • A passionate individual with a positive mindset and can-do attitude

      • Proficient in English (German is a plus)
