      As a student for the Finance, Infrastructure and Visitor Services - Visitor services Portfolio, you will:

      • Collect, review and standardize the sections procedure and training documents to ensure consistency and professionalism.
      • Assess current documents, applying a uniform format and style, and enhancing readability while maintaining accuracy.
      • Use design tools to improve document aesthetics by adding visuals and simplifying complex content.
      • Work in collaboration with subject matter experts.
      • Verify content accuracy and incorporate feedback to refine materials.
      • Additionally, you will organize documents within the company’s file system, maintain version control, and create a guide for future standardization efforts.

      What we are looking for:

      The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in communications, technical writing, design, business, or related fields.

      Experience:

      • Document design and editing, technical writing, file management

      Knowledge:

      • Design and Visual Communication (Preferred).

      Eligibility criteria:

      • Must be a full-time student at University;
      • Must be returning to full-time studies next session (a proof will be required);
      • Bilingualism: Preferred but not required;
      • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

      Working conditions:

      • 24 hours per week;
      • The selected candidate must be available to work on-site at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau.

      Compensation: $21.81/hour to $23.62/hour - according to the student’s level of education;
      Duration: May 26, 2025 to August 15, 2025;
      Workplace: 100 Laurier Street Gatineau, Québec;
      Security Clearance: Enhanced Reliability.
