What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare soil, forage, plant, manure, and lime samples
- Assist in the preparation of lab reagents
- Conduct basic analyses as required
- Maintain attention to detail in all tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Enrolled university student for the Spring and/or Fall 2024 semester
- Interest or previous training in science, chemistry, agriculture, and/or soil science
- Ability to work independently after training
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of soil and forage analysis techniques
