      We are looking for a highly motivated summer student to join our legal team in Toronto.       As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

      • Assist Corporate Legal transactions team with various matters on ongoing transactions (including, as needed, coordinating diligence workstreams, liaising with external counsel & various Oxford stakeholders (investment team, asset management & leasing teams, finance & capital markets team, accounting, etc.), analyzing various contracts and leases, organizing

      • deliverables, etc.)

      • Assist Insurance team with various insurance projects (including reviewing insurance provisions in leases, coordinating and tracking renewals, invoicing, claims coordination and liaising with insurance brokers)

      • Assist Legal Operations team with various legal operations initiatives

      • Contribute to the development of training materials for internal procedures and seek opportunities for process excellence

      • Supporting the regulatory tracking program by monitoring new regulations relevant to Oxford (on an as needed basis)

      • Maintain internal databases and filing systems

      To succeed in this role, you:

      • High level efficiency in Word, PowerPoint & Excel (with knowledge of iManage considered an asset)

      • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail

      • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

      • Strong written and verbal communications skills

      • Embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment
