Job Description
- Req#: 1594
- Lead the development of adult leaders and students to lead music in all areas of Lake Forest JHM and HSM. This includes weekend services, camps, special events, and nights of praise/prayer.
- Responsible for clear communication with students, leaders, and parents of SSM Worship students.
- Expected to run logistics for worship at events and camps.
- Weekly tasks related to budget and expense management, text/emails, and maintenance of church systems related to SSM Worship.
- Leading in JHM or HSM weekly, and occasionally in the Worship Center when asked. Bridge to Saddleback Worship
- Maintain interactions and partnerships with adult worship department
- Work in partnership with the Lake Forest Worship Pastor for big picture vision and culture and integrating students in adult worship and vice versa.
- Musical skills are expected as well as experience leading worship.
- Being able to be a shepherd to student’s worship development.
- Has a heart for students and worship
- College degree and seminary is preferred
- Having music skills, and leadership skills
- Being able to lead a ministry with staff and volunteers
- Has a sound understanding of admin work and developing students

Description
Do you love students? Do you have a heart for worship? How about leading students in worship? If so, this position might be for you. The role will focus on building and maintaining student-led worship teams for the Lake Forest JHM and HSM weekend programs, camps, and special events. The Worship Leader will also help set the vision and structure for all student ministry worship.

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity, along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be provided at a range of $66,500-$67,000 per year. We will provide a pay rate that is within our salary structure and that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job.
