- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist visitors with parking and facility-related questions in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding parking locations, regulations, and available services.
- Address and resolve visitor concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Transaction Processing:
- Process credit card transactions for parking fees accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all payment transactions are completed following the department's policies and procedures.
- Event Support:
- Assist with parking operations during events, including directing traffic, managing parking areas, and ensuring efficient use of parking spaces.
- Provide support to event organizers with parking logistics and crowd management.
- Monitor and report any issues or incidents during events to the appropriate personnel.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, visitor interactions, and any incidents.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
- Other:
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the Transportation and Parking Services department.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer service.
- Interaction with a diverse range of visitors, including students, staff, and the public.
- Involvement in outdoor event settings.
- A criminal background will be conducted.
Classification Title: OPS Student Assistant - Part time
Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
Expected Salary: $15.00 hourly rate
Minimum Requirements: This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
