- Oversight and management of the 360-recruitment lifecycle focused on filling roles based on workforce planning requirements and business needs
- Proactive support of the student recruitment team across all regions, supporting wider attraction strategies to build the brand and advocacy across diversity
- Oversight of top up graduate and school leaver hiring strategies for local market and niche requirements, engaging directly with universities to expand the technology talent pool
- Active management of recruitment metrics and pipeline (no of applications to offer) involving complex recruitment funnel management and forecasting to ensure proactive top up attraction strategies are in place - to identify potential areas of concern and ensure KPI’s are being met or exceeded on an ongoing basis
- Responsibility for shortlisting candidates against set criteria in order to effectively fill final stage events
- Proactive relationship building with key stakeholders, and engaging and reporting to the business to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Identify new approaches and highly diverse pipelines and talent pools (refugees/military/stem/neurodiversity)
- Engage with the student team to plan sourcing for niche hard to fill roles, and develops business engagement to expand volunteers and brand ambassadors based on recruitment data and demand forecasts against fill rate
- Champion the events and engagement strategy targeting diverse talent pools
- Support the student hiring strategy to ensure a crisp order to the business (workforce planning, Events/Attraction, Nurturing, Assessment, onboarding, offer)
- Report on flight risk of candidates and reduces renege rate through wider team engagement across student
- Engage with leaders to bring EVP and brand to life through storytelling to build brand awareness for hiring
- Lead and collaborate on cross team projects and initiatives to support the wider team
- Analyse and prepare management information, presenting at meetings and feeding back to key stakeholders, as well as Senior Student Recruitment managers
- Prioritize and direct workload across the Advisor group, ensuring consistent ways of working are applied
- Monitor key processes and controls to ensure that quality standards and protocols are being adhered to
- Strong team player with positive personal impact
- Ability and experience of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
- Able to work in a client driven environment and flex personal style or direction where needed
- Strong problem-solving capability
- Proven ability to work autonomously and to high standards, able to take the lead on assigned projects using knowledge to achieve quality results
- Experience of leading and motivating others with an emphasis on coaching and counselling
- Significant recruitment experience, skills and knowledge (ideally student recruitment) and able to manage high volume candidate pipelines
- Thrive on working to high standards by exceeding targets and KPI’s in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Confident excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc.)
- Knowledge of core assessment and selection tools
- An awareness of the latest employment legislation and key issues surrounding immigration

Hybrid working – up to 40% spent on travelling/ on campuses seasonally

The Opportunity:
As a senior advisor, you will work very closely with the student recruitment manager to create a strategy for a successful recruitment campaign, where your primary focus will be executing this strategy and engaging stakeholders as required to ensure exceptional client service. You will manage some candidate pipelines, and with your team, co-create go-to-market strategies, and manage events and relationships whilst offering an exceptional candidate experience at all stages. You will also work closely with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to execute and deliver on the set targets, strategies, pivoting, amending, and improving whenever necessary. You will have a relentless focus on meeting targets and operational excellence, managing and escalating risks where needed. You will be required to assume team leadership responsibilities such as counselling and coaching as well as direct line management of Student Recruitment Advisors. You will also deputise for the Student Recruitment Manager during periods of annual leave.In addition, you will work to ensure that the Advisors across the team are operating effectively. You will help to devise, embed and monitor processes, as well as ways of working across the team that will ensure a best-in-class Student Recruitment operation delivering an exceptional experience for the team, business and candidates.
Your key responsibilities
Your work will largely be undertaken remotely / virtually, although you will be required to travel as necessary within the UK to meet key contacts and build relationships with wider client serving teams, as well as attend team meetings, one to ones and deliver or support final stage events, as well as campus, schools and office events.
