Job Search Category Student Employee Position DescriptionAdvertised Job Summary General job duties include answering the telephone, shipping and receiving of general merchandise and textbooks, stocking general merchandise and textbooks, pulling and shipping online orders, operating point-of-sale cash register, light cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting, assisting customers in the store, taking inventory of general merchandise and textbooks, and other day-to-day customer service needs on the sales floor.Qualifications Must be able to lift 50lbs and operate a pallet jack. Must be able to operate a point-of-sale cash register, telephone and computer. Local students are preferred because you must be able to work nights and weekends as needed and must be available for summer work. Must be able to work a maximum of 20 hours per week and extended hours during peak times, such as beginning and end of semesters. Freshman or Sophomore status and retail/customer service experience preferred.
