    • Any student entering their junior year at DHS, having good moral character, and who has lived in the Delano school district for at least one year prior to the date of selection shall be eligible to serve as a student representative.
    • The representative must exhibit characteristics of good citizenship and have no history of serious disciplinary actions.
    • The representative must maintain at least 95% attendance and a minimum GPA of 2.5
    • The candidate will be chosen after a vote by 9-11th graders and after an interview with a committee of administrators and School Board members.
    • Be willing and able to attend all Board meetings. Be prepared by reviewing the shared agenda and providing a student report monthly.

    • Student School Board Rep

      Delano Public Schools is looking for a student leader who is engaged with Delano Public Schools and is pursuing opportunities to share their experiences and voice on the School Board. The position is open to a current 10th-grade student to serve for the next two years in accordance with Policy 215.

      Position Responsibilities and Eligibility:

      Interested students should complete the application and attach two letters of recommendation by April 30, 2025.
