      Overview:
      The Nursing Student Success Coach supports nursing students throughout their academic journey by providing mentorship, coaching, and resources to enhance their educational experience. This role focuses on student development, retention, and successful program progression while maintaining alignment with university policies and accreditation standards. Job Description:
      • Student Support:
        • Inspire and motivate students to attend online courses and succeed academically.
        • Provide a trusting environment for students to share their concerns, goals, and aspirations.
        • Act as a liaison between students and other university departments.
        • Offer guidance on university policies, procedures, and requirements.
      • Academic Coaching:
        • Advise nursing students across all program levels, including Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) candidates.
        • Collaborate with the College of Nursing leadership to troubleshoot and resolve student issues.
        • Support practicum processes by tracking student progression, ensuring compliance with documentation timelines, and addressing questions.
      • Collaboration & Quality Assurance:
        • Partner with nursing leadership and faculty to enhance the student experience.
        • Ensure programmatic accreditation standards are met concerning student success.
        • Track metrics related to student progression and identify reasons for potential stop-outs.
        • Contribute to continuous quality improvement of practicum processes.
      • Additional Responsibilities:
        • Manage a cohort of students, coaching them through their degree program.
        • Perform other duties as assigned.
      Required Skills and Competencies:
      • Strong counseling and coaching abilities to improve the student experience.
      • Customer-focused approach dedicated to student development and success.
      • Effective problem-solving, organizational, and process management skills.
      • Strong presentation and communication abilities, both oral and written.
      • High integrity, trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality.
      • Familiarity with formal and informal organizational structures for task execution.
      • Proficiency in managing multiple activities efficiently.
      • Commitment to self-development and continuous improvement.
      Required Experience:
      • Prior experience in online education (as a facilitator or student).
      • Knowledge of academic policies and procedures preferred.
      • Experience in academic advising within higher education preferred.
