      Ivy Tech Evansville seeks a Student Success Counselor. This role provides administrative support to the Office of the Registrar by functioning as the registration and imaging coordinator, enrollment and process resource, commencement supplies and tracking, office manager and other projects as required. This is an in person position based on our Evansville, IN campus.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Serve as Registration Coordinator by utilizing the Banner, IvyQ and DocuSign, etc. to process course registrations, change of programs for closed programs, student demographic forms, class cancelation drops, FERPA, Course Repeat, Alternative Demonstration forms, etc.
      • Utilize Degree Tracker and serve as a resource to students as needed
      • Process requests for academic transcripts, enrollment verifications and loan deferments.
      • Process registrations for Apprentice, and dual credit students as necessary.
      • Work with other front-line staff to handle in-person and phone traffic.
      • Provide backup to Assistant Registrar and Registrar.
      • Provides administrative support to the Registrar.
      • Work requires independent judgment and skill in operation of a variety functions.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.

      Hiring Range:

      • $42,000 - $45,000 annually based on experience

      Work Hours:

      • Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Must be able to work in person on the Evansville, IN campus.
      • An Associate Degree or equivalent work experience required.
      • Must be able to critically think and work independently.
      • Must have strong customer service skills and computer skills including: MS Word, Excel, experience in spreadsheets, and database software.
