- Make sure all students have permission to be in the halls. Escort students to appropriate locations as necessary.
- Keep student traffic moving between classes before and after school.
- Monitor halls by continuously walking through all parts of the building.
- Check all doors to make sure they are secure and check outside of doors to maintain safety.
- Report damage, maintenance needs, and/or sanitary conditions to apropriate personnel.
- Assist students and staff as necessary.
- Check restrooms on a regular basis as part of the building monitoring.
- Make sure students who are in the restrooms are authorized to be there and are conducting themselves appropriately.
- Check for student conduct violators (smoking, loitering, vandalism, etc.) and report violations and students as necessary.
- Check for damange, maintenance needs and sanitary conditions and report them as necessary.
- Monitor students and behavior.
- Move throughout the Student Center interacting with students, supervising and enforcing Student Center expectations.
- Screen visitors to the building and monitor and assist the visitors.
- Assist with parking issues and monitor security system.
- Move through all parking lots checking the lots for safety, security and behavioral issues.
- Monitor parking, issuing parking violations, applying the locks as necessary, and assisting people in need.
- Monitor students and others in the lots to ensure they are authorized to be in the lot.
- Assist with traffic control before and after school and control parking lot gate system.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Assist other members of the secuirty team, the staff, students, and/or visitors.
- Communicate clearly, listen carefully, pay attention at all times.
- Works to diffuse problems, do not escalate issues and use good judgment.
- Do not put yourself, students, staff, and/or visitors in jeopardy.
- Take initiative when dealing with issues, problem solve, offer solutions and assistance, take direction from administrative team, and or School Resource Officer.

Salary Range: $17.04 - $21.79 (7 Steps)General description of duties and essential functions of position: Preference will be given to the individual who can demonstrate the following.A.
