Writing and Developing Test Cases using a standard template to define test case deliverables in advance
Executing and documenting Test Cases based on data provided
Documenting Bugs, Defects and Issues in MS Azure DevOps
Executing Retests on fixed bugs on delivered code base
Active Algonquin College Student in Computer Programming or related field
Demonstrated proficiency in Computer Applications and Information Systems
Strong communication and written skills
Ability to translate business expectations into test cases
Attention to detail in execution and documentation a necessity
An interest in participating on a complex project as a part of a team
Work experience with College enrolment or related processes an asset
Project Management experience an asset

Job Description:
As a Student Tester on the R3 (Rethink. Redesign. Reimagine), a College Transformation Project, incumbents are actively involved and engaged in testing a system in the design and develop phase. As a part of the College's implementation of a new student information system, the tester work includes unit testing and process testing. Testing requires attention to detail, interest in system functionality and proficiency in business processes and application standards.
Specific duties will include, as directed by the Test Team Lead:
