      The opportunity

      Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Assistant to the Executive Director for UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Goffstown, NH. This is an exciting opportunity for a student to have direct hands-on learning experience serving as an Assistant to the Executive Director. The student will be involved in many aspects of the organization's functions. The opportunity to represent the organization at a variety of events, creating connections with the community and experience the vitality of that connection for nonprofit growth and sustainability. Students will learn first hand the challenges, successes and rewards of working at a non-profit organization.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Assist with Marketing, HR, PR, and risk management
      • Organize special events, program evaluations and development programs
      • Develop short and long term strategic financial short and long term planning and development

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
      • Work study part of financial aid package
      • Students with work study may be prioritized
      • Reliable transportation
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
      • Maintain professionalism
      • Possess strong work ethic
      • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Interest in non-profit/small business administration

      Compensation

      The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
