      Student Worker – Admissions Representative

      Hamilton, MA

      10-15 hours/week

      The Admissions Student Worker joins a collegial, hard-working, fun team of 13 individuals at all Gordon-Conwell locations. The Admissions Student Worker will leverage their experience as a student to be on the front lines of future student recruitment for GCTS.

      Job Qualifications:

      1. Strong writing abilities.
      2. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and orderly, capable of problem-solving and using time efficiently and effectively.
      3. Able to learn a working knowledge of GCTS programs, pertinent Admissions policies, and procedures.
      4. Must possess strong interpersonal abilities and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with excellence.
      5. Possess solid experience in the use of a computer, especially Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), as well as the ability to learn new database software.
      6. Ability to work 10-15 hours per week during regular Admissions hours, which include Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and may include Saturday hours. Hours agreed upon prior to the upcoming term.
      7. Must be a current student at GCTS and work out of Hamilton, MA.

      Responsibilities:

      1. Answer and sort emails coming into the admissions@gordonconwell.edu mailbox.
      2. Answer or redirect phone calls coming to the Admissions office.
      3. Assist with campus visitors.
      4. Support the Admissions office during Hamilton campus events (Open House Explore Seminary, other events as needed)
      5. Complete basic HubSpot maintenance (merging duplicates, assigning leads)
      6. Sorting admissions@gcts.edu multiple times each day. Responding to General Inquiries/Recruiting questions
        1. Checking Junk mail to see if any messages get lost there. I occasionally check the “Application – App Opened” and “Application – App Submit” folders as well to make sure no messages get lost in there as well.
        2. Set away message for holidays (mail.gordonconwell.edu) under your profile, switch to Admissions inbox
        3. Partnership reference requests from Bethany G (reference folder)
      7. Other duties as assigned.
