Student Worker – Team Operations Intern

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

Support the day-to-day operations of the Ohio Wesleyan Esports program, helping ensure smooth coordination of team activities, events, and recruitment efforts.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

• Assist with scheduling practices, matches, and team events
• Help manage team communications (Discord, email, etc.)
• Support recruiting efforts by coordinating with prospective students and campus partners
• Track attendance, match results, and maintain team records
• Assist with social media planning and basic content coordination
• Provide logistical support for tournaments and game days

Qualifications:

• Interest in esports, gaming, or team management
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with Discord and Google Workspace a plus
• Prior OWU involvement or esports experience helpful but not required
