      About The Opportunity

      We are looking for a Manager, CRM & Marketing Automation to be a part of global student travel initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of our dynamic and innovative team. As the Manager, CRM & Marketing Automation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping personalized customer experiences, optimizing marketing campaigns, and driving engagement strategies that resonate with the global student and youth community.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Proactively drive, set and own the global strategy across email, app/web push notifications, in-app messaging and marketing automation.
      • Set and implement automation strategy and requirements that drive customer engagement and loyalty, as well as implementing automation flows to help retain customers.
      • Consistently test/learn/optimize automations while sharing findings across the larger team and stakeholders.
      • Responsible for driving owned audience growth and maintaining audience health.
      • Translate brand goals into accurate delivery requirements, including but not limited to: segmentation & targeting logic and personalized content requirements.
      • Work with the design team to develop new email templates aligned with new trends and best practices.
      • Work with the development team to fix platform issues and build new functionality.
      • Analyze and report on key channel metrics, as well as overall and segmented audience sizes/growth to ensure the success and progression of owned channels.
      • Act as the email and mobile messaging subject expert, sharing benchmarks, strategy, competitive trends, industry opportunities and best practices.
      • Ensure compliance with consumer protection laws (CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, CASL, etc.)
      • Support the delivery of our Brand Ambassador and Refer-A-Friend programs
      • Partner with internal teams to execute internal/paid partner/co-marketing campaigns.

      Experience & Qualifications

      • 4-6 years of professional experience working with email and/or app notification platforms, specifically campaign setup, list segmentation and personalization.
      • Hands-on experience in Braze (preferred) or alternate CRM marketing platforms.
      • Must be detail-oriented and have exceptional QA skills
      • Familiar with and able to edit basic HTML and imagery. Photoshop experience a plus.
      • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
      • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with design, product, operations, etc.
