Our RMS Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) business area in Orlando, FL is on the lookout for a Subcontract Manager to spearhead complex supply chain management duties supporting the Maritime and Land Training Solutions Programs.

      THE WORK

      As a Subcontract Manager you'll take the reins on strategic Program/Capture Manager efforts, leading the Subcontract Management Team (SMT) in partnership with TLS Supply Chain Management. This role entails navigating a diverse and dynamic portfolio, overseeing sourcing and subcontract negotiation efforts, including existing program support for Maritime and Land Training Solutions programs.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Manage complexity 1-3 subcontractors, handling tasks such as writing & managing Subcontractor Statements of Work, reviewing technical performance specifications, and developing Source Selection Plans.
      • Ensure timely preparation and updating of subcontract management documents, such as SOW, specifications, data requirements, schedules, etc., throughout the capture phase and the life of the subcontract.
      • Establish robust risk management processes with subcontractors, tracking risks, developing mitigation plans, and executing burn down plans to limit risk realization.
      • Drive the development of subcontractor Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Quote (RFQ) processes.
      • Coordinate and lead reviews for technical design, technical interchange, programmatic reviews, and working group activities.
      • Ensure seamless collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, and other functional organizations to support subcontract requirements.
      • Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute measurable supplier recovery plans should subcontractors miss contractual milestones related to cost, schedule, technical, quality, or LM/Customer dependencies (Return to Green Plans).

      Experience in Subcontract Management
      Working knowledge of standard contract types.
      Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.
      Past experience with Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), government regulations.
      Ability to participate with upfront integration with Engineering and Production to assure the creation of a complete Bills of Material (BOM). - Previous LM supply chain experience in subcontracts
