      As Subsidiary Controller, you will report directly to the Divisional Controller. The objective of this position is to oversee the KDA Direct Operations Accounting and Financial Management process. Qualified candidates must possess “hands-on” operational and technical accounting experience and be able to troubleshoot accounting issues and directly assist in the closing of Direct Operations subsidiary general ledgers if required from time to time. Will also assist in the development and implementation of accounting policy and procedures as well as standardization of internal control practices and process flow design at all subsidiaries.

      Responsibilities

      + Direct all Direct Operations Accounting and Finance personnel

      + Assist Direct Operations Controller in resolving accounting and internal control issues

      + Review Direct Operations compliance portal for ongoing compliance with KDA Group policy and procedure

      + Maintain a “hands-on” approach in working with subsidiary Controllers to ensure timely resolution of any accounting process and/or system issues

      + Work directly with the Divisional Controller and Subsidiary President in the development and implementation of Direct Operations accounting policy and procedures

      + Work directly with the Divisional Controller and Subsidiary President in implementing a standardized internal control framework and process flow across all Direct Operations Subsidiaries

      + Review monthly reporting package submissions from KDA Direct Operations subsidiaries to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with corporate policy and procedure

      + Communicate any issues or anomalies to management promptly

      + Work directly with the VP of Finance and CFO in performing acquisition valuation analysis and purchase accounting

      + Oversee integration of accounting architecture and policy and procedure for newly acquired KDA subsidiaries

      + Oversee coordination of Direct Operations annual Master Plan and monthly forecasts

      + Assist the VP of Finance in working with outside auditors to coordinate the quarterly review and annual audit deliverables

      + Ensure proper control of expenses by performing a comprehensive monthly analysis of actual expenses compared to budget and the prior month's trend

      + Communicate any issues to management and initiate timely corrective action as necessary

      + Ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly account reconciliations and other required analyses per corporate policy

      + Perform financial analysis, develop, and provide management reports for executive management

      + Hire, train and evaluate finance and accounting staff

      Qualifications

      + BS in Accounting with 10 years minimum experience in a Controller position

      + CPA qualified

      + Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, strong technical writing skills, and experience in the implementation and handling of complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters

      + Internal Control framework implementation experience

      + Excellent hands-on skills in working with industry recognized accounting systems (preferably Oracle and E-automate)

      + Excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BI tools related to financial reporting

      + Must be self-motivated and function independently, driven towards superior effort and performance, and the desire to work in a dynamic environment

      + Outstanding organizational and project management skills with extensive experience managing multiple complex assignments simultaneously

      + A high degree of integrity and accountability in a fast-paced environment

      + Experience developing staff and mentoring finance associates across the organization

      + Passion for leading people. Having joy in supporting growth and learning. Being a strong advocate for the Accounting team

      + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

      Preferred:

      + Experience working with Hyperion Financial Management Software

      + Experience working in the Office Equipment / Document Management Solution Industry
