Our programs provide outpatient substance use counseling services to adults with substance use issues. We primarily serve Hispanic clients. Qualifications Include: LCDC/LCDC Intern in Texas and previous experience counseling in the substance use field. Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record (if working in a residential program). Drug screen and background check required. Skills Ability to professionally communicate, maintain calm in tense situations, organize, write well for client documentation, ability to build rapport with our clients and inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
