Job Description

- Responsible for sweeping and dry mopping floors.
- Vacuum carpeting; removes spots and stains.
- Wash windows and walls; dusts and polishes furniture, scrubs and washes kitchen fixtures; cleans blinds.
- Dust woodwork, furniture, and other furnishings.
- Clean restrooms; replaces toilet paper and soap; washes and polishes bathroom fixtures.
- Pick up paper and debris in the building and on the grounds.
- Replace light bulbs as required.
- Clean and mop kitchen area.
- Fold and unfold chairs
- Responsible for moving furniture
- Wash, dry, and fold tablecloths and towels.
- Transport, empty and clean large trash containers into outdoor units
- Maintain equipment and materials used in the workspace.
- Perform work under the direct and general supervision of the Building Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a part-time, temporary position with no benefits.
General Responsibilities
This position is responsible for light to moderate cleaning of designated school building areas; to include cleaning classrooms, school offices, restrooms, cafeterias, hallways, and other areas as assigned. Duties may include cleaning in central school facilities such as transportation, child nutrition facilities, ore the central administration building.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma and one year of customer service experience is recommended.
