St. Charles CUSD 303 - Daily Substitute Teacher Rate: $145 per day
- Loyalty Rate (after 31 days as a District 303 Daily Substitute Teacher): $165 per day
- Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate: $220 per day

St. Charles School District 303 has many opportunities to substitute teach in our 17 schools. We set high expectations for our students, staff and substitute teachers.

To work as part of our Substitute Teaching Team, you will need one of the following: Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL), Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education), or a Paraprofessional License and a bachelor's degree.
In addition to the online application, a transcript, a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check must be provided.
