- Basic computer skills including email, internet use, keyboarding, Excel, Word
- Ability to follow multi-step directions
- Maintain confidentiality of all student, parent, and staff information
- Sign in and out daily in the main office
- Use the timesheet within Frontline for monthly payment
- Maintain a safe learning environment and an orderly classroom
- Follow the provided lesson plans
- Take accurate student attendance
- Perform other duties during non-teaching time as instructed by an administrator or administrative assistant other than during the scheduled lunch period.
- Leave a note with any necessary information for the teacher when he/she returns to the classroom.
- Other duties, as assigned by supervisor/administrator.
Primary Role:
To assume the classroom and other assigned duties in the absence of the regular teacher.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of college (60 semester hours) or Associate’s Degree. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred. Previous school/classroom experience preferred
