The intern program sets foundation for ongoing competency-based development by providing our new Customs & Trade Analysts with:

• Numerous developmental opportunities and specialized training to learn the basics of the automotive and related fields of International Trade, Import and Export Regulatory Compliance, and related Financing businesses.
• Cross-organizational experiences to build competencies and enable the development of business expertise, presentation, and leadership.
• Opportunities through structured amenities such as Plant tours, Dealership visits, Supplier visits, and Networking events to develop relationships between other interns, supervisors, Nissan leadership and business interfaces.
• Typical Customs & Trade internship experiences may include a 12-week project within International Trade compliance and operations, Supply Chain integration and risk mapping, Internal Auditing, or financial analysis such as duty cost analysis.

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

• Currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Have a strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
• Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
