Responsibilities As a 2024 Summer Consulting Intern in the Healthcare Consulting (HCC) group you will have the opportunity to: Work with clients such as: pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device manufactures Potentially contribute to Commercial Excellence projects including: Commercial effectiveness and growth optimization, market access optimization and payer/provider outreach, customer strategy and innovation, and health economics evidence generation Potentially contribute to Clinical Operations Excellence projects including: Operational and technical assessments, roadmap and strategic planning, project management and change management, project health assessments, and enterprise cloud transformations Gain skills around the implementation of healthcare technology and analysis of healthcare data Collaborate with experienced Staff, Seniors, Managers and Partners with specialized experience and technical knowledge across numerous industries and services Engage directly with a variety of clients ranging from privately held businesses to publicly traded multi-national corporations Learn directly from mentors and additional Baker Tilly employees through a series of networking activities and an open work environment Participate in our week-long developmental intern orientation designed to give you the tools needed to immediately contribute to client engagements Impact the surrounding community through volunteer events Qualifications Successful candidates will meet the following requirements: Be enrolled as a full-time student during the 2023/2024 school year in a Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related programs. Master of Healthcare Administration/Management, Public Health, Health Policy, Business Administration or related programs Outstanding academic performance Availability to begin full-time employment in 2025 Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and solid Microsoft Suite skills required Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position Additional Information For New York City and the state of Colorado only, the compensation range for this role is $20.25 to $38.50. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.Successful candidates will meet the following requirements: Be enrolled as a full-time student during the 2023/2024 school year in a Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related programs.
