- Owning project on improving a compliance and/or AML (anti-money laundering) process;
- Developing internal documentation on on how to best accomplish key compliance tasks and/or reviews;
- Research new SEC or FINRA rule proposals for impact on our business and compliance requirements;
- Strong writing and analytical experience a plus
- Baseline understanding of the brokerage industry, trading platforms and/or SaaS for B2B
- Drive to learn, dig deep and figure things out
- Undeterred by obstacles with the ability to problem solve, pivot and refocus
- Effective communicator who takes the initiative to engage and collaborate with others
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or MBA degree with a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025.
- Be available full-time and in-person for 40 hours per week
- Must reside in NY-metro area, relocation support will not be provided
- Must be available to start on Monday, June 3, 2024. Internship will conclude in mid-August

About the team
DriveWealth is seeking a Summer Intern to join our compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping the compliance team deliver new capabilities and controls. This will be a hands-on role with responsibility for one to two projects with clear objectives and outcomes that are achievable within the ~10 week program. The individual will actively work alongside other members of the Compliance team, engage cross functional partners, conduct regular reviews of their work and participate in real business decisions.
This is a full-time, in-person internship involving 40 hours per week. Deadline to apply is Friday, December 8, 2023.
