      This isn’t your basic coffee run internship. This is GSD&M Daze of Summer . Come spend your summer days in a daze as you experience our fast-paced creative environment for yourself. Here, you’ll actually be working alongside our talented teams. From creative and account leadership to strategy and analytics and beyond, you can expect a real, hands-on competitive experience.

      GSD&M is a creatively-driven, full-service advertising agency born and raised in the heart of Texas. Today we are a global agency in the music, food and “weird” capital of the world. We’ve won the Super Bowl, cleaned up at Cannes and continue to help iconic brands win every day.       Details:

      What: Paid 40hr/week summer intern program

      When: Tuesday, June 3rd - Friday, August 8th

      Where: Austin, TX Hybrid: In office (Tues, Wed, Thurs) / Remote (Mon, Fri)

      Who: Any college junior/senior/grad level students and recent graduates

      Program Highlights:

      • Agency Experience - Acquire hands-on, real work ad agency experience
      • Intern Team Project - Collaborate on a cross-departmental group project
      • Lunch & Learns - Gain insights into the role of each agency discipline
      • Group Gatherings - Join in meet-ups with fellow interns and agency staff

      Job Highlights:

      As a Strategy Intern , you will support our teams by:

      • Conducting research and sharing POVs based on the data you have access to and trends you identify in the social and cultural consciousness
      • Trendspotting and thought leadership. You’ll help keep our Strategy team on their toes by identifying interesting consumer and business trends that represent opportunity for the brand to have a first-mover advantage.
      • Helping with creative briefs. You’ll collaborate with your team to develop interesting and insightful briefs that inspire creative teams.
      • Become an expert on our brand’s competitors through research and competitive audits
      • Assist in preparing client-ready documents such as POV's, briefs, competitive audits, trend reports, etc.

      Requirements:

      • Candidates must be enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate-level student in college OR recent college graduate (less than 1 year since graduation)
      • Experience with secondary research platforms (Mintel, KANTAR, etc.) is nice to have, but not required
      • Experience with social listening & analytics platforms (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, etc.) is nice to have, but not required
      • Must be available during the summer (6/3/25 - 8/8/25)
      • Must be able to work full-time 40 hours per week
      • Hybrid work schedule: Onsite in our Austin office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and work from home (Mondays, Fridays)
