      Responsibilities

      You are responsible for learning and using Noblis’ standard principles, concepts, processes, structure, techniques, tools, and methodologies to solve routine real-world problems using basic skills. You apply particular project or technical/functional area knowledge and concepts and operate with close supervision, following direction and guidance from others. You engage independently in activities such as research, data gathering, data manipulation and interpretation; you consolidate findings and identify key themes from gathered data and analysis. You begin to demonstrate personal flexibility through learning and self-development and the ability to communicate effectively with others.

      Typical Responsibilities

      • Design and develop modular microservices and APIs to support data ingestion, processing, and model inference

      • Containerize applications and manage orchestrated deployments for scalability, resilience, and maintainability

      • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment

      • Integrate, fine-tune, and operationalize large language models for generative and analytical use cases

      • Construct, optimize, and scale data workflows for transformation, feature engineering, and reporting

      • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement performance tuning and reliability improvements

      • Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and end-users to elicit requirements, demo prototypes, and iterate on feedback

      • Identify high-impact research topics, scope and execute proofs-of-concept, and incorporate validated findings into production features

      • Document technical designs, security considerations, and operational runbooks to support compliance and knowledge sharing

      Required Qualifications

      • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

      • GPA of at least 3.3

      • US Citizenship or US permanent resident status required
      • Coding experience either from prior internships or course projects

      Desired Qualifications

      • Prior experience in federal consulting or government IT projects

      • Familiarity with front-end frameworks for building data-driven interfaces

      • Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tooling

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

      • Self-starter attitude and proven aptitude for independent research and continuous learning

      Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

      USD $23.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
