      The People Development Project Coordinator - Intern is responsible for coordinating the training plan re-design project, partnering with the Technical Training team and Learning and Development Coordinator to create a technical training learning framework under the direction of the Director, People Development and Director, Training Compliance. This internship will be for 12 – 15 weeks in the summer of 2025 in Midvale, UT.

      Responsibilities / Job Duties:

      • Partner with the People Development and Subject Matter (SMEs) teams to review current training courses and plans
      • Work with SMEs, technical trainers, SH&E (the safety team), and the operations managers to create a training framework for approximately 200 locations under the direction of the leaders responsible for ensuring training happens
      • Make recommendations for a final training framework
      • Assist the Learning and Development Coordinator in updating the learning management system (LMS) as directed based on the final framework
      • Partner with the training compliance team to refine reporting as requested
      • Assist in seeking out opportunities to help identify and create improvements in the overall Team Member experience
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications:

      • Ability to work as part of a team, with strong written and oral communication skills
      • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills

      Education:

      • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program with a focus on:
        • Human Resources
        • Learning and/or Organizational Development
        • Information Technology – Learning Management Systems/HRIS/HTML helpful
        • Project Management
      • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
      • Moderate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills with the ability to learn in-house computer systems
