- Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm.
- Assist litigation and investigations counsel with factual and/or legal research.
- Assist anti-money laundering compliance professionals with various tasks, including due diligence on clients or business opportunities.
- Assist corporate counsel with preparing and/or reviewing NDAs and other basic corporate contracts.
- Assist corporate counsel with recordkeeping and preparing contract packages for signature by internal and external parties.
- Conduct research on regulatory developments and work with management to develop action plans.
- Develop Compliance Training modules.
- Enhance Compliance Metrics and Reporting templates.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting materials and/or decks/slides.
- High school degree required.
- Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Forensics, or Business is desirable, but not required.
- Aspiring law student is a plus.
- Prior internship experience in financial services or legal/compliance experience a plus.

Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Rockefeller Capital Management’s Legal and Compliance department is looking for a Summer Analyst to provide support across the department. The Summer Analyst will work hand-in-hand with various groups within Legal and Compliance, including: (1) Litigation and Investigations; (2) Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions Compliance; (3) Enterprise Compliance; and (4) Corporate and Enterprise Legal.The Summer Analyst will have the opportunity to work alongside legal and compliance professionals that provide day-to-day support to our business segments and across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is one who is thorough, operates with a high attention to detail, has strong communication, research, time management and problem-solving skills, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is driven to develop and grow in their role.

Compensation RangeThe anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
