Job Description

Provide support to existing engineering & business projects
Collaborate with existing engineers, co-ops, other interns
Complete and document assigned projects by end of semester
Comprehend oral and written instructions.
Clearly communicate with engineers, co-ops, college interns, and project team members.
Document progress on assigned projects ( maintain records).
Conduct data analysis.
Perform assigned tasks related to process and quality engineering projects.
Utilize CAD software to complete drawings of parts and components related to projects.
Perform basic programming and fabrication related to assigned project.
Use 3D printers, shopbots , and other equipment within the Makerspace
Program in Java or other code
Previous experience on Shaw-sponsored high school robotics team or former robot ic s students who have completed 1 year of college.
Completion of manufacturing or engineering related career program classes while in high school.
Students must be at least 17 years of age to participate in the program and have completed high school.
