      Department Overview:

      Since 1956 UCP has been a recognized and trusted organization offering valuable services for families, children and adults with varying disabilities and delays living throughout south central Wisconsin. We support individuals with autism, epilepsy, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, delays in speech, mobility and development, etc.

      Schedule:

      Summer camps are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. You may work the whole day or half a day (morning shift/afternoon shift).

      After-school programs are Monday - Friday from 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm.

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $18.00 to $18.00

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      As an Inclusion Facilitator with United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County you will have the opportunity to work directly with either children or teens with developmental disabilities. Inclusion Facilitators working the summer camps and/or after-school-programs are tasked with modeling apprepriate interactions to the child's peers and community members. When working with teenagers, Inclusion Facilitators are responsible for inclusive and individualized social and recreational opportunities for youth. Help the person establish friendships and enjoy community outings such as parks, library visits, movies theater, kayaking, etc. This is a part-time opportunity. Apply to secure a job for the summer!       Qualifications:

      Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred (mileage reimbursement).

      Reliable and punctual.

      Works well independently and as part of a team.

      Can handle change and unpredictability.

      Experience with developmental disabilities is a plus but not a requirement.

      Physical Demands

      Outdoor, physical activities, possible driving.
