Department Overview:
Typically, teenagers with developmental disabilities have not been offered the same opportunities as their peers without disabilities and often have limited opportunities to expand their interpersonal relationships outside of their families. At UCP, we create an atmosphere for teens with developmental disabilities and their peers where mutual, natural friendships are fostered and valued, where disabilities are accepted, where individual differences and unique capabilities are celebrated, and where community resources are explored. An emphasis is placed on encouraging participants to self-direct when possible while developing the skills necessary to successfully and safely engage in our community and explore new places.
During the summer months, UCP provides full day or partial day services for teens living throughout Dane County. All participating teens are dropped off and picked up by their family or another designated person at a pre-determined, centralized location in Madison and participate in a variety of fun-filled summer activities. Day trips around Dane County and beyond can be expected. Services are individualized and accommodations are provided to encourage each teen’s success.

15-35 Schedule:
Monday - Friday: you can choose to work all days or only some days. Shifts available for half a day or full day between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $18.00 to $18.00 Number Of Positions
