- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

SHAWNEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Job Title: Summer Computer Technician
Reports To: Director of Technology and Executive Director of Academic Services
Site: Shawnee Public Schools (all locations)
Qualifications:
Credentials: None required. Must have driver’s license and acceptable driving
record.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent with specialized training in computers or networking preferred.
Training or Experience Required: Advanced computer skills.
Job Summary: Perform basic maintenance and installation of technology at district sites. Responsible for maintenance, installation and setup of computers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Essential Job Functions (PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES):
1. Provide computer maintenance district wide.
2. Responsible for installing new hardware.
3. Responsible for closing and completing all work tickets.
4. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.
Supervision exercised: Employee does not supervise other employees.

Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions:
Terms of Employment: Temporary position beginning to be determined with Director (late May or early June) and ending (late July or early August). Works 7.5 hours per day Monday through Thursday, may need to work some Fridays. Maximum number of days 60.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Shawnee Board Policy on evaluation of personnel.
