Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties would include, but not limited to, the following: • Provide a supportive environment for students and other staff within the program. • Demonstrate patience, guidance and foster positive relationships with students as well as staff and families. • Maintain a safe environment at all times • Supervise students and staff at all times. • Coordinate and deliver enriching and engaging activities to the children including but not limited to: • Setting up weekly field trips (including bussing/student grouping for trips) • Setting up weekly guest speakers/programming • Developing a summer permission slip and distributing/collecting them from all parents. • Planning and organizing outdoor/indoor games, crafts, etc. • Distribute important camp information to all parents. • Collect and document important paperwork by deadlines (field trip permission slips, waivers for specific trips, sunblock waivers, medical forms) • Maintain records of medical issues, injuries, and behavioral issues. • Keep a confidential record of all documented paperwork. • Assist in implementation of program policies. • Maintain daily scheduled attendance. • Maintain staff schedules, always reporting absences or changes in schedules to the Revenue Programs Manager. • Communicate effectively to staff, students, and families. • Run brief weekly meetings/check-ins with staff to discuss weekly activities, guidance, and day-to-day directions regarding their responsibilities. • Expectations to students • Information and incidents to parents • Communicate regularly with Revenue Programs Manager.
