Job Description
- Req#: 92825
- Load and unload material, supplies and equipment such as desks and office equipment, office supplies, books and printed materials, and custodial supplies
- Use manual and mechanical lifting devices and hand-operated dollies
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the shop area clean, safe, and orderly
- Assist in organizing warehouse
- Research data and verify accuracy of any department documentation required for processing
- Assist with office filing and clerical activities
- None
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Texas Drivers License or Texas ID
- Experience preferred
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 45lbs or more
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in non-air conditioned environments including outdoors for extended periods of time
- Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors in varying climate and weather conditions.

The position requires occasional walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/carrying work related items weighing less than 40 pounds, such as books, papers and presentation materials. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Attendance at conferences and professional development is required. Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.
