Overview
The Summer Hire Program at Cook Inc. provides experience in various manufacturing areas.
Responsibilities
• Complete job related duties and tasks based on department need• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements• Maintain regular and punctual attendance• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards• Must have effective oral and written communication skills• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age and provide proof of identity (driver’s license and Social Security card or passport)• Must be enrolled for 2025 fall semester in an accredited college and provide proof of registration prior to first day of employment (acceptance letter, bursar’s statement, course schedule, etc.)• Must have a relative currently employed at Cook• Must work 8 - 10 weeks beginning on June 16, 2025
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position
