      Contributions

      As a Design & Strategy intern, you will learn about our Design Intelligence® framework and how to incorporate human-centered methods to deliver a quality customer experience at speed.

      Your day to day looks like:

      • Participating in and supporting user research and synthesis including user and stakeholder interviews, facilitated workshops, and co-creation sessions
      • Attend and contribute to daily stand ups and take daily direction from project manager and design leads
      • Work heads down on project deliverable based your core skillset with oversight from design director or design lead
      • Assist in preparing client deliverables for feedback and presentation

      What you’ll learn:

      • Participatory design methods to outline, understand, and articulate problems and pain points
      • How to plan your work in an efficient and agile way
      • How to collaborate across different team roles and functions
      • How to present your work to stakeholders
      • How to iterate and improve on ideas and processes

      Qualifications

      Qualifications

      • Current study of UX Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, and/or Design Strategy
      • Understand the relevance of and how artifacts like journey maps, service blueprints, persona's, ecosystem, and experience maps fit into crafting user and service experiences
      • Knowledge of UX and/or Service Design methods, tools, and best practices including wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, and moderated and unmoderated user testing
      • A natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with an analytical mindset
      • A collaborative nature with good written communication and presentation skills
      • Must be a U.S. citizen
      • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, or other prototyping tools
      • Bonus points for Visual Design or Data Visualization skills
