      Internship Description

      FLSA: Non-Exempt

      Position Title: Data Analytics Internship

      Reports to: Chief Deposit Officer

      GENERAL SUMMARY :

      The intern will work closely with the Bank’s Retail and Marketing Departments to gather and combine data from various sources to gain insight into customer behavior and identify actionable opportunities to deepen relationship.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* :

      • Collect and prepare data for modeling
      • Mine and interpret data to identify actionable insights
      • Communicate results to stakeholders
      • Identify data gaps for resolution and confirm data integrity
      • Assist in developing sustainable processes and procedures to enhance the Bank’s data analytics function

      OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

      • Coordinates and follows up with internal and external specialists and experts to ensure superior customer service.
      • Interacts effectively with internal bank departments to ensure that business needs are met.
      • Maintains and ensures adherence to safety and security issues/policies/procedures.

      SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED :

      Enrolled in a Four-year college degree in data analytics or related field of study.

      Analytical and problem-solving skills

      Strong PC skills with expertise in Tableau, report generation programs, and Microsoft Office

      Ability to communicate effectively

      Understanding of statics

      Ability to work independently and as part of a team

      Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

      Strong organization skills


      WORKING CONDITIONS:

      Work will primarily be completed on site.

      Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable.

      Minimal physical effort required, normally seated with freedom of movement on a regular basis.

      Handling of moderately heavy materials (up to 20 pounds).
