Assist in the maintenance of our Raiser’s Edge donor relations database in coordination with the Database Coordinator.
Assist in the coordination of awarding benefits to qualified Mission:Dignity recipients with the Recipient Relations team.
Assist in the promoting and tracking of our Mission:Dignity Sunday event in coordination with the Donor Relations team and Marketing Strategist
Assist in outreach to new and recurring donors in coordination with the Donor Relations Specialist
Work on special projects relating to promotion of the Mission:Dignity ministry.
Handle complicated or sensitive issues with Mission:Dignity recipients
Must be classified as a Junior or Senior at the close of the Spring semester prior to the summer internship
Must be a student for the duration of the internship program
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Highly proficient PC skills in MS Office
Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle high levels of stress in a rapidly changing environment.
Self-starter with strong organization skills.
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
Understanding of Southern Baptist polity and organization.
Strong relational skills and the ability to connect with a diverse cross-section of individuals and organizations in person and by means of telephone calls and written communications.
Personal attributes should include creativity, organizational skills, enthusiasm, and self-motivation with a strong work ethic.
High-energy, result driven team player with fundraising or other sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to adapt efficiently to urgent sensitive assignments and to negotiate and reschedule projects when priorities overlap.
Basic understanding of systems supporting the fundraising process.

The Summer Intern in Mission:Dignity will support operational segments of the department, including but not limited to database maintenance, event promotion, and outreach initiatives. Throughout this work, this role will be afforded the opportunity to learn the basics of each role in the department.
