Job Overview
High School Intern: Primarily works at an assigned location and will learn and develop the skills needed to work on relevant projects, learning about the field, making industry connections, and developing both hard and soft skills. College Intern: Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent. The ability to interpret a technical document, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill. In addition, the work requires the analytical ability to resolve complex problems requiring the use of basic scientific, mathematical or technical principles and the occasional exercise of independent judgment in order to accomplish objectives.
Qualifications
High School Intern: Work requires enrollment as a junior or senior in a High School program. Students must meet the minimum age of 16 and in “good standing” with the school. High School & College Intern: Include application for employment and proof of school enrollment, and all state and federal required documents for new hire, demographics information, and validation of eligibility to work in the United States. Students are required to provide two forms of identification such as: Student I.D., Birth Certificate, Social Security Card or Passport.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Supervisor/Manager/Director assigned department
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a normal patient care area or office environment where there are relatively few physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise and the like
