Summer Internship - Data Business Coordinator Retail

Today our retailers tend to be very tactical in the way they approach their business. We (MDI) have a number of toolsets and access to data that can:

• Prove to our retailers that we understand their business, markets, competitors AND most importantly we have tools to help them.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Learn Placer.ai and SiteSeer toolset. Chris Van Parys as well as system experts can help with our training.
• Pull our ‘diagnostic’ for each retailer.
• Group our reports into presentation ready word, PDF and PPT presentations depending on the JBP schedule and location.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• strong general typing skills
• Pursuing a BA in Business, Accounting or Marketing (all majors may be applicable)
• Demonstrated interest in analytics.

Skills the intern is expected to learn.

• SiteSeer and Placer.ai toolset
• Circana and syndicated data analytics
• Presentation skills both creation and delivery
• Sales, negotiation, and consulting as we will be presenting to Independent owned retailers.
